10-Year Summer Celebration

Join us in Victoria Park's Bandstand on Monday 20th July 2026, 4-6 PM, as we celebrate 10 years of community-owned renewable energy in Frome.

Over the past decade, FRECo has helped local people take practical action on climate change through renewable energy projects that benefit our community. This informal summer gathering is an opportunity to celebrate what we’ve achieved together and thank the volunteers, investors and supporters who have been part of the journey.

We’ll be providing light refreshments and plenty of opportunity to meet the people behind FRECo, hear about our work, and learn more about our plans for the future. Whether you’ve been involved for years or are simply curious about community energy, you’ll be very welcome.

As FRECo looks towards its next chapter, we’re also keen to meet new people who would like to get involved. We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in finance, accounting, investment, communications and community engagement, but we welcome all backgrounds, skills and perspectives. If you’d like to help shape the future of community-owned renewable energy in Frome, we’d love to meet you.
